In the past 25 years Terrance Simien and his Zydeco band mates have toured the globe millions of miles to more than 30 countries. His fans have long been asking for a live CD. On “LIVE Worldwide”, Simien’s 8th CD he makes good on this request. Born 1942, New Orleans, LA and recorded 1962-1972, almost exclusively with producer Allen Tousaint. Considered by Soul Music scholars to be one of the greatest southern Soul singers to come out of New Orleans. He recorded for Alon, Jet Set, Desu, Sansu, Decca, Atco, Brown Sugar, Kansu & Pama in his 10 year career. This is the first ever complete Eldridge Holmes release of legendary recordings produced by Allen Tousaint featuring the cream of New Orleans 1960s musicians (Meters, Neville Bros., Dr. John, etc)

Recorded for Sonny Lester's legendary \"Groove Merchant\" label in the 1970s. Spent the 1980s & 1990s living in Singapore and touring the world. Still active recording and performing and now lives in Baltimore, MD
